From 2005 a senior lecturer and later associate professor at the Department of Private International and Civil Law at MGIMO (Moscow), where until 2012 he taught private international law, civil procedure and the legal regulation of foreign economic relations.

Lectured at the Universities of Cambridge and Exeter. PhD in Law, with the academic title of Associate Professor.
